What Was Your Life Like Before Your Transformation?

I played offensive line in college at a small university. My goal was always about being as big as I could. I ate whatever I wanted and drank beer every weekend.

I had surgery after my senior season and decided I didn't need to be big anymore. I also wanted to be a police officer and wanted to get in shape for that profession.

What Were Your Major Struggles or Challenges?

Getting over a lack of support by my family. They did not understand why I was trying to lose weight and did not support my new habits. I was even told at times that people missed the fat me.

Final Words of Advice for Others Looking to Make a Change?

Commit to the progress and understand it is going to take time. It may take months to see a noticeable difference but I guarantee if you stick to it you will become obsessed with the results and want to keep improving.

Don't be afraid to adopt the fitness lifestyle because it is against the norm. If you are unhappy with yourself make the change regardless of what others opinions may be. You are the only one who has to live in your body.
