Add in Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium and Coconut Water Powder with an all natural profile and you have the perfect electrolyte drink mix.

Use NaturaLyte to enhance your workout drinks or as a welcome addition to your normal drinking water. The benefits and flavor will be a welcome addition to your life! Perfect for all athletes!”

-Marc Lobliner, CEO of MTS Nutrition

NATURALYTE INTRODUCTION

NaturaLyte is an all-natural electrolyte formula that can be used during training or simply to enhance your water intake throughout the day. Feel free to mix it with your favorite pre-workout or intra-workout.

NaturaLyte contains calcium, potassium, magnesium, and coconut water powder to ensure that you are properly hydrated with the perfect electrolyte balance. Each scoop also provides sodium that is exclusively procured from sea salt. Unlike other electrolyte powders that use cheap and harsh sodium sources, NaturaLyte’s sea salt is obtained by evaporating seawater. It contains essential minerals and nutrients that are removed from ordinary table salt during the refining process.

WHAT'S IN NATURALYTE?

Sea Salt

NaturaLyte includes nutrient-dense sea salt, not the stripped down form of sodium typically included in supplements. While salt is often demonized, research shows that consumption of sea salt protects against hypertension and kidney damage as well as support immune system function.[1]

Sodium is all the more important to consume if you’re engaged in regular high intensity training. It helps maintain fluid balance in the body, preventing dehydration, and regulates muscle function. Deficiencies of this essential mineral weaken muscles, decrease performance, and lead to cramping and spasms. REAL 100% Sea Salt is what you need for:
  • Immune System: Sea salt and its many vitamins and minerals can prevent a deficiency common to athletes and those who train, enhancing the immune system and preventing sickness.
  • Alkalinizing: Since it is not heated or chemically treated like stripped-down forms of sodium, sea salt can enhance alkalinity in the body enhancing nutrient absorption and enhancing health.
  • Digestion: Sea salt can aid in the production of digestive juices, enhancing digestion and preventing stomach issues.
  • Muscle Cramps and Spasms: Containing potassium and other minerals, sea salt can prevent muscle cramps and spasms.
  • Blood Sugar: Sea Salt can help maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
  • Dehydration: The minerals in sea salt help to prevent electrolyte imbalances from perspiration and water intake.

Calcium

The most abundant mineral/electrolyte in the body, calcium is primarily known for its importance in regards to bone and teeth health.[3] But that only begins to scratch the surface of this minerals effects in the body.

Calcium is also essential for muscle contraction, transmission of nerve impulses, and even blood clotting.[2] If you’re deficient in calcium, your body will leech the required calcium from your bones, setting you on the path for brittle bones and osteoporosis.

Potassium

Providing the counterpunch to sodium is potassium, the electrolyte that forms the other half of the electrical pump responsible for regulating electrolyte balance and neurotransmission.[2] Much like sodium, potassium is lost is vast quantities during intense exercise, setting you up for increased fatigue and cramping. Consuming sufficient potassium ensures sustained performance, mental clarity, and carbohydrate metabolism.

Magnesium

The fourth most abundant mineral in the human body, magnesium plays a role in over 300 different processes in the body. Included in these 300+ reactions is the synthesis of DNA and RNA! In terms of athletic performance, magnesium maintains heart rate, stabilizes blood sugar, and regulates muscle function.[4] It also supports bone and teeth formation and bolsters the immune system, further highlighting its importance to your health and well-being.

Coconut Water

Coconut water is naturally rich in sodium and potassium as well as calcium and magnesium. In short, it’s an electrolyte powerhouse! Coconut water helps replenish depleted electrolyte stores in the body, maintaining proper fluid balance and preventing dehydration. Moreover, research shows the liquid can combat hypertension (high blood pressure) and lower cholesterol and triglycerides.[5,6]. Included for several potential benefits including:
  • Electrolyte replenishment
  • Lowered blood pressure(1)(2)
  • Lower cholesterol and triglycerides(3)(4)

Perfect for extended cardio sessions!
I bought this because I'm currently taking Machine Lean and sweat like CRAZY during my cardio sessions, which commonly leads to dizziness and dehydration. I added 1 scoop of Naturalyte to my BCAAs w/32oz water and drank it throughout my cardio session. Not only was the dizziness eliminated, but it also soothed my stomach cramping, another common occurrence during LISS cardio. It tastes great and mixed fine. Highly recommended!

Must be a sweet tooth
The flavor is awfully sweet, too sweet for liking. I couldn't even finish the first glass I made, it was that terrible. If you enjoy very sweet, you may enjoy this. However, the flavor taste nothing like lemonade.

Wasn't sure what to expect.
I ordered this after reading the ingredient list. I wasn't sure what to expect but couldn't be more pleased. The flavor is good and it pretty much tastes like an uber classy Gatorade. All in all, I'll be getting more of it when I run out. I added a little Mio to it and it got even better.

Different is good
I mixed this expecting Gatorade and got coconut water... which is good if you're prepared for coconut water. Once the initial shock was gone I was good since I actually like coconut water, just be prepared for it. At $1 a serving its the price of a Powerade at a gas station but significantly cheaper then coconut water so great deal for all the electrolytes you get in it, not just table salt and sugar.

Would drinking this be considered breaking my fast?
Rick L on Nov 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: First of all, I'm not an expert. But, while some of the minerals would be essential to a fast, the addition of coconut water powder could potentially break the fast considering coconut water itself may have caloric sugars.
