MACHINE WHEY INTRODUCTION
MACHINE WHEY uses a VERY HIGH PERCENTAGE (80%) Whey Protein!
Protein is essential for muscle repair and growth. In order to get in sufficient amounts of protein each day, athletes frequently opt for protein powder as a quick, tasty, and affordable way to get in their daily protein. In fact, whey protein powder is quite often the very first supplement athletes purchase in their pursuit of improved recovery and increased muscle growth.
The reason whey protein is so beneficial for hard-training athletes is that it is a complete protein, containing all the essential amino acids. It’s also very high in branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), the trio of amino acids responsible for driving muscle protein synthesis. Whey accounts for 20% of the protein in milk (the other 80% is casein).
Whey protein concentrate (WPC) comes in various grades ranging from WPC-35 to WPC-80. These grades dictate how much protein is in the powder. The higher the number, the more protein you’re getting. MTS Machine Whey uses the highest quality of whey concentrate in WPC-80, giving you more protein per scoop that other cheaper proteins on the market. Numerous studies have touted the benefits of whey for its ability to support muscle growth, accelerate recovery, lose fat and boost immunity.[2,3,4]
WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE
Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) is simply a more refined form of whey protein concentrate. Additional carbs and fats have been removed from the whey to yield a product that is ultra-high in protein (>90%) and extremely low in carbs, lactose, and fats, making isolates the ideal option for individuals with lactose digestibility issues. By employing the ideal mix of whey concentrate and isolate, Machine Whey creates a protein powder that is both extremely gratifying in taste and texture while at the same time being high in protein and lower in carbs and fats that concentrate-only powders.

Why Take Whey Protein?Whey Protein is essential for athletes looking to increase lean mass and lose fat. Whey protein contains ALL essential amino acids, making it a complete protein and is also very high in Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA). The BCAA's Leucine, Valine and Isoleucine have been shown in studies to help people build lean mass and burn fat. Whey protein helps you maintain healthy immune system by increasing the levels of glutathione in the body. Glutathione is an anti-oxidant required for a healthy immune system. Past History w/ Protein: Personally, I am VERY picky when it comes to protein. I'm extremely hard to please with taste especially. I hate that "protein" taste. I've been a Platinum Gold Standard Whey girl for a very long time because I could deal with the MInt Chocolate flavor & the macros were on point. I've also used Cellucore Whey, Dymatize ISO-100, Grenade, Syntha-6, MuscleTech, and Dymatize Elite Gourmet- all of which I have eventually gotten sick of.
KEY LIME PIE: Initially, I ordered Key Lime Pie because I am a Key Lime FANATIC. After trying and loving the Banana Cream I had high hopes for this flavor. I hated this flavor. Very faint lime taste that lacked the cream flavor. The graham cracker pieces were also very unpleasant, surprisingly. I returned this for the Cookies & Creme flavor. I rate this a 4/10.
COOKIES & CREAM: THIS IS PHENOMENAL. If you're wanting to try this protein and want a safe bet, buy this flavor. It is more chocolaty then expected, but oh so amazing. It tastes justs like oreos in milk, really. I didn't believe it when people said that and I still can't believe it actually DOES taste like that. I crave this when I want sweets, and have a shake when I do. It settles my sweet tooth and fits within my macros perfectly. This is a 10/10.
BANANA CREAM PIE: This is amazing if you love Banana flavored things. Tastes just like pie. I rate this a 9/10.
Peanut butter Fluff - Love it, I give it a 10
Peanut butter cookies and cream - Love it, I give it a 10
Cookies and Cream - Love it, I give it a 10
Banana Cream Pie - Like it, , I give it a 7
Red Velvet - It's my least favorite and probably the only one I wouldn't buy again which sucks as my favorite dessert is Red Velvet cake. I give it a 5
As for mix-ability they all mix easy and they all taste better with Milk as most proteins do but MTS hands down tastes better with milk versus water.
Gourmet Cookies and Cream (my first choice) - Excellent first impressions. Tasted identical to an oreo milkshake (if you use milk). Safe bet if you're new to this brand since it'll taste good in both water and milk. More chocolate than an actual oreo, which left me pleasantly surprised. (9/10)
Gourmet Mint Cookies and Cream (my favorite) - My second tub. I'm quite a mint fanatic, but I've never actually had thin mints before. It tastes exactly like the Cookies and Cream, but with a slight mint taste. If I had to guess, then I'd say that these taste "exactly like a thin mint." Tastes great with water, tastes phenomenal with milk. (10/10)
Red Velvet (my second favorite) - My third tub. Again, I've never had red velvet cake before (yeah laugh all you want), but I heard that it was like a richer, lighter chocolate. What surprised me about this particular flavor is that you can actually taste a hint of cream cheese frosting. It's alright in water, but definitely try it with the milk. (9.5/10)
Banana Cream Pie - My fourth tub. For some reason, I end up buying flavors that I've never tried before. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this one as much. The banana flavor seemed more artificial to me, and there wasn't a lot of it. I couldn't taste too much of the cream either. Although it produced a thicker texture than the other flavors, I just can't get over the taste. (I use this one for protein waffles). Not too good with water. Alright with milk. Good with vanilla almond milk (it gives it a milkshake-like texture). (6.5/10 overall)
Blueberry Muffin - very muffiny with a good blueberry as well. The blueberry aroma fills the room even before I broke the seal and opened the tub. Taste 9.5/10. Makes a great sludge with frozen blueberries.
Chocolate Coconut Cookie - taste 8/10 BUT if you make it the following way then 10/10. Make a sludge with 1T coconut oil, a little salt and just a little hot water, then let it sit in fridge for a few hours to cool and set up into a very thick dense pudding. Tastes like Somoa cookie pudding.
Aussie Triple Chocolate Biscuit- I thought this was amazing when I tried it dry powder in mouth but when mixed with water it's pretty bland and not sweet. Not sure if I got a bad batch or something. Ithe has a few different chocolate flavors and even a subtle coffee flavor. Taste 7/10.
Gourmet Cookies & Cream - tastes just like a liquefied Oreo. 10/10 taste. Phenomenal.
Gourmet Mint Cookies & Cream - tastes like a mint Oreo or a Thin Mint cookie. I'm not a huge mint fan but still very good. Taste 8.5/10.
Creamy Red Velvet Cake - very sweet. Makes for an excellent mug brownie. Taste 10/10. Excellent. Probably my favorite.
American Apple Pie- sweet apple flavors but not my favorite. Pretty good when mixed with oats. Taste 7/10.
Birthday Cake. Pretty good, nice and sweet but I've had better birthday cake flavors. Taste 8/10.

thanks in advanced
seems Optimum Nutrition as all of the above in their Gold Standard Whey (I just read the container I have), yet with all of the above in their product, how is it that they are considered the "Gold Standard" ? I love their products, rat feces and all !
