Shredded Chicken Chili Crockpot High Protein Recipe

Are you tired of the same old boring chicken and broccoli meals? Do you want amazing tasting food that is easy to make, macronutrient friendly, and inexpensive?

The crockpot is one of the best tools available in the kitchen. It requires little preparation and cleanup is a breeze.

The ingredients you'll need are minimal. Preparation time for this recipe only takes a few minutes.

Bodybuilding Shredded Chicken Chili

  • 3 pounds of chicken breasts
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of black beans
  • 1 whole chopped green bell pepper
  • ½ chopped onion
  • 16 ounces of salsa
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • Jalapenos (optional)
  • Sriracha (optional)
Preparation steps:

Place 6 chicken breasts (approximately 3 pounds) into crockpot. Add in the following ingredients:
  1. 1 can of diced tomatoes
  2. 1 can of black beans
  3. 16 ounces of salsa
  4. 1 whole chopped green bell pepper
  5. ½ chopped onion
  6. 1 packet of taco seasoning
  7. Jalapenos (optional)
Mix together all ingredients making sure chicken is covered fully with ingredients. Replace lid on crockpot and cook on low heat for 5 hours.

Pull apart and shred chicken with two forks until chicken has been fully shredded and stir ingredients together.

This recipe is extremely macronutrient friendly. Each bowl contains the following:
  • 450 calories
  • 6g Fat
  • 35g Carbs
  • 64g Protein
Preparation is simple and the entire recipe can be made for under $15. With approximately 6 servings in the entire recipe each large sized bowl will cost you only about $2.50. Shredded chicken chili will be an easy alternative to your standard everyday boring meals providing you with great tasting, filling meals for days to come.
