What Was Your Life Like Before Your Transformation?
Eating whatever I wanted, lifting heavy mostly every workout reps ranging from 5-9.

My turning point happened shortly after I had knee surgery to repair torn cartilage in my femur from powerlifting for a few years. After a full recovery, I have decided to try out bodybuilding. My first show is in 15 weeks
What Were Your Major Struggles or Challenges?
Eating clean was a big one, counting everything especially macros was also hard. Tracking all food and water has really helped me but I'm not done yet!

What Was Your Workout and Cardio Plan During Your Transformation?
Cardio every other day, on the days where I do not do cardio I do abs. Also switched from a bro split to hitting every body part twice a week. Workouts range from 1.5 hours to 2 hours without cardio.
What Was Your Eating Plan During Your Transformation?
Egg whites, spinach, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, extra lean beef, turkey, and chicken breast. Brown rice, Ezekiel bread, and almond butter.

Pretty high protein, moderately high unsaturated fat, little to no saturated fat, moderately low carbs. Every third day is high carb day and the day after high carb day is leg day.

I also used a pre-workout, creatine before and after workouts, 2 protein shakes a day
and BCAAs during my workout.
What Were Your Major Milestones?
Training for my first show so hasn't made it there yet. However, being under 200lbs and still being able to deadlift 500+lbs was a big milestone for me.
Detail Your Biggest Mistakes
Dropping carbs too fast early, and worrying about how much weight I was bench pressing. Those are my only two.
Biggest Thing You Learned During Your Transformation?
Don't worry about what people think of you
Final Words of Advice for Others Looking to Make a Change?
Strive every day to be 1% better. Drop the ego when you walk into the gym and eat meals that are healthy. It's not about how much macros you obtain but when you get them!

Never be satisfied.
