What Was Your Life Like Before Your Transformation?It was very hard for me to actually go to the gym because I was dealing with anxiety and depression, constantly think people judged me where ever I would go.
The first couple of days of going to the gym I would always give up, thinking someone was looking at me laughing. Always giving up. Always letting myself down and never reaching my goals.
Please Detail Your Turning PointI decided to bring my own headphones. My cousin started coming with me to help me out and show me a few things. Me talking to him, and him telling me to concentrate kept my mind away from the negative thoughts I would have by myself at the gym.
What Were Your Major Struggles or Challenges?Looking at others, thinking I'll never be like them, The hardest part to deal with was myself; trying to not think negatively. Actually going to the gym with positive thoughts was the hardest part.
Detail Your Workout and Cardio Plan During Your TransformationI did weights for 4 days of the week with 10 minutes of cardio right after. On my 2 days off I would do 30 minutes of cardio to keep my mind on track of what I wanted.
Detail Your Diet/Eating Plan During Your TransformationI cut out chips, candy, pop. Basically, all of the food I knew was bad for me. As I went along I got rid of foods I found out weren't the best.
Detail Your Supplement Plan During Your TransformationI came to realize supplements with my body were more or less trial and error. All of my friends were trying to get me to try new things because it worked for them, but it didn't for me. So I always did my research on products before I tried them.
What Was Your Major Accomplishment, or Major Milestones?Deadlifting 135lbs than 315lbs. Benching 95lbs to 315lbs. Doing incline bench press with the 100lbs dumbbells.
Detail Your 3 Biggest Mistakes
- Letting myself go and going back to thinking I wasn't going anywhere.
- Going back to eating badly.
- Thinking I was it when I wasn't.
3 Biggest Things You Learned During Your Transformation?
- Eat clean.
- Think about what exactly you're doing and what you are doing
it for.
- Don't lift heavy weight to impress. You may hurt yourself.
Final Words of Advice for Others Looking to Make a Change?Never lose track of your dreams and goals. Let them push you, and you WILL become your own dream. Never forget what you want.
