WHAT IS NIAGEN?
Also known as nicotinamide riboside (NR), Niagen® is a naturally-occurring form of Vitamin B3 (niacin) that’s readily absorbed by the body and converted to NAD+, an essential molecule found in every cell of your body. NAD+ is vital to proper mitochondrial function, allowing the food you eat to be converted into usable energy. However, as we age, NAD+ levels naturally decline, which impairs mitochondrial function, accelerating aging and the likelihood of developing a debilitating disease.
