Once again Steve Shaw provides
Once again Steve Shaw provides a no nonsense approach to lifters looking to maximize their time in the gym. This book is perfect for people just starting out and provides a system that will encourage progress by slowly easing them into the iron game. Too often people try to take on too much too soon and get discouraged, but with the program laid out in Massive 6, anyone can successfully begin their journey towards strength.

Great workout for the beginning lifter
I purchased the book to read it as i already read massive iron. I recently was out for several months with major injuries so i wanted to start off slow and work my way back up. Steve wrote this book with someone who has been out of the gym in mind. great progression and use of full body workouts while the body still accepts it.

Massive Six is a well thought out, well organized beginner program that will provide any trainee new (or relatively new) to the iron the means to establish a great foundation for their strength training career. It will be mentioned and recommended in the same breath as Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength and John Scheaffer's Greyskull LP. Fantastic job, Mr. Shaw!

Great program but not for me
Sure, this course tells you exactly what to do and will guide beginners from being inactive to getting results in the course of a few months. However, I personally don’t want to lift only 2 days a week in the beginning, then 3 days a week. I want to lift 4 days a week and did not find what I was looking for in thes Enook.

How many days a week is this program?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is mostly a three day a week program (22 of 24 weeks). Phase 1 (weeks 1&2) is only 2 days a weeks, but after that phase 2 (weeks 3&4), phase 3 (weeks 5-14), and phase 4 (weeks 15-24) are all three days a week. Check out the details tab for more information.
