I was using the GNC Creatine prior to Creapure. There is definitely a noticeable difference for me. My pumps are way better. I actually began using HPN's CreaPure the same day as Isatori's Bio-Gro. Together the recovery/strength gain efficiency has been terreffic! I lift heavy at each workout, as I always have a spotter, I always push myself to that next level of weight on my sets. Next day, little to no soreness! I have a 6 day split. I have been having strength gains from one workout to the next! This has happened for the past 4 weeks straight. I even talked my military co-workers into trying this product! Would definitely recommend to anyone.
For my post workout recovery, I would always take a creatine supplement. Typically, creatine monohydrate based on the long term research shown its assistance in recovery for low-high intensity training. “Creapure” creatine monohydrate is the safest and purest form you could find produced and HPN much like all their products takes the time to create a product that uses such a high standard. After incorporating C2 into my workouts I noticed a reduced recovery time which allowed me to push on with my resistance and weight training. As a result, I can now keep up with my training days without feeling fatigued the following day. Typically, you would mix creatine with some water or your preferred protein of choice, I would empty one scoop into my mouth and immediately drink some water. Now while this sounds a bit ridiculous I did so on the pretense of not having to worry about any mixability issues. As for taste and consistency, it’s flavorless and micronized which means no chalky or powdery aftertaste. One thing to note is that it recommends using one serving pre and post workout unless you are taking their pre-workout P3 which includes its very own severing of the same creapure creatine used. I note this because it adds to making sure your receving the clinical dose of 2.5-5 grams of creatine daily while making P3 a solid product as well. Overall I have had a very satisfied experience with C2 and will continue to use it in my training to ensure a solid recovery time.
My 17 y/o son who plays travel hockey started using this stuff about a week ago and he says it's definitely making a difference in his energy level already. He's going through a growth spurt and it takes a ton of energy away from what he has available for hockey/working out, but the HPN C2 more than makes up for it. He hasn't had any issues with his stomach or anything else. My ONLY complaint about the C2 (and this may not be an issue exclusive to C2) is that it doesn't mix very well in whatever liquid we put it in. If he doesn't just chug the drink in less than a minute, he has to keep shaking the drink before he takes a gulp to make sure the powder doesn't stay at the bottom of the container.
As a dietary supplement, take 1 scoop with 4 oz of water, a protein shake or juice before workouts or physical activity and 1 scoop after completion of the workout. On non-training days, take one serving upon waking, prior to first meal.
If using P(3), the pre-workout dosage is not necessary as these supplements contain a full serving of C(2).
