In an ideal world, you’d always have ample time, energy, and motivation to shop, prep, and cook every single one of your daily meals to ensure you’re always sticking to your desired calorie and macronutrient targets. However, we don’t live in an ideal world, and whether it be time, money, or laziness, you’re not always going to be able to prep your own meals.

Fortunately though, meal replacement bars offer a convenient and affordable way to get in quality nutrition without the need to dirty a ton of pans or spend a fortune. Meal replacement bars are very similar to protein bars; however, they will have a much more balanced macronutrient profile.

Meal replacement bars contain not only protein supplement but also added fiber, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and a more moderate amount of carbohydrates, all the essential of a well-balanced meal, only in bar form! Whereas protein bars may have only have 150 - 250 calories per serving, meal replacements typically have contain between 300 - 500 calories per serving to help crush hunger and keep you full until it’s time for the next real meal.
